Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 'If any god doesn't favor me caring about the beliefs I hold and intellectual honesty, then that god is unworthy of worship. ' -I love that sentence. Well done. I cannot worship any god who would condemn me to burning for eternity simply because in life I have considered my true beliefs and followed them, be they Atheist beliefs. 'To err is human, to forgive is divine.' The Christian God apparently doesn't forgive Atheists who have Erred though.

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 what is your belief then?

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "what is your belief then?" _ I believe my car is red. Hint: You might wish to specify. I answered the exact same question for jjwhipey less than 20 minutes prior to this.

Mar 18, 2010 - @truthhhunter77777777 What if you are wrong about Zombie Apocalypse?

truthhhunter77777777 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 I don't believe that your car is red. How can you convince me that that is red?

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "I don't believe that your car is red. How can you convince me that that is red?" _ I can bring you the title of the car with my name printed on it with the color specified on the title. Titles generally have to be notaries and are federal documentation. Are you trying to equate the belief in something that has no demonstrable evidence(gods) to something you can see probably in your own neighborhood(red cars)? THIS is one way how I have more respect for the idea of gods than you.

mohawk548 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - EVIDENCE '- Now that scientists all over the world close to establish the truth of 'LIFEs' . which are being found and developed in our planetory and far-away alikes, where trails of living organisms and change of bio-chemicals taking place ! inspite of these, scientists could not find any GOD, or CREATOR or MICKEY in there ! this is the indisputable truth of how 'life' was, is, and will be created, by witnessing it's birth and procreation from not too far future and next doors

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - notaries=notarized

LaShannonator Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @truthhhunter77777777 'I don't believe that your car is red. How can you convince me that that is red?' You're either weirdly diverging from the topic to be awkward, or creating a metaphor which will just create confusion anyway. Either way, it's getting strange. say what you mean.

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "-I love that sentence. Well done." _ Thanks. "I cannot worship any god who would condemn me to burning for eternity simply because in life..." _ Done in one. Nothing else is required past that point. Justice is defined as punishment fitting of the crime. A living creature with a finite existence cannot be punished to anything eternally and that act be called "justice".

truthhhunter77777777 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 My car is red too, do you believe me?

dhanabandot Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - its what ppl believe in.. wats wrong with that?

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "My car is red too, do you believe me?" _ Sure. I have sufficient reason to: 1) Red cars exist 2) Many people own red cars 3) I also own a red car 4) The complexity of the claim is not incredible. Still equating beliefs on merit of incredibility of red cars to gods, I see. Each time you do this, you are showing me exactly how much you do not care about the beliefs you do hold, and how much more the idea of gods are to me.

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - TYPO: "...and how much more the idea of gods are to me." -> "...and how much more important the idea of gods are to me."

LaShannonator Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @dhanabandot There is something indeed wrong with that when peoples judgment both on moral issues and on physical health is blinded by their faith. Peoples beliefs in fake this-and-that's effects how the entire world runs, often negatively. 9/11 is the first thing that pops into my mind.

truthhhunter77777777 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 Therefore, what I have written must be true?

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "its what ppl believe in.. wats wrong with that?" _ Because outside of reflexes, beliefs inform all actions. Relevance: /watch?v=byK2ktbuwM4

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - "Therefore, what I have written must be true?" _ No. Where did you form this heuristic from? Please draw the lines from accepting your claim that you have a red car, to whatever you type is true.

D34dH053 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - I have to run guys, 5 weeks of in-office work. I'm gonna miss administering servers from home in my undies... /maily because I get laughed at for administering them in the office in my undies...

truthhhunter77777777 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 so long man-nurse

LaShannonator Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @D34dH053 Ugh, good luck with that. Meanwhile I should probably get some sleep since it's so late on a weeknight with uni tomorrow. Athiests and Theists alike, it's been an interesting talk we've had :)

dannooll Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @easeconnect Hi. I can't find the comment you replied to me. So I gotta reply to this one. I think it is a half-baked religious mindset that states people deserve anything from nature or God. On the one hand it chooses the side which has only relative justice, existing only because man exists; on the other hand it claims someone has been cheated by God or nature.

AtheistToothFairy Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - irestinhim:"Do you consider all of these people liars, including Christ himself?" Until it is proven that the life of jesus, along with these miracles he is said to have done, are actual events in history, then one is forced to assume that we are dealing with FICTION here. So your question is not valid, for a fictional character can't really 'lie' within the scope of reality.

mohawk548 Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @telvi2xxx: The then empire was divided among two mutually hostile Christian confessions: Roman Catholic and Evangelical(Lutheran). After 1563, Reformed (Calvinist) churches were also established. These divisions strained the imperial institutions, AND not of any religious institutions by and large ! GOD is just an extension of times' immortal, which i think you can do without ! hahaha got it!

AtheistToothFairy Says:

Mar 18, 2010 - @jjwhipey, Yes, and once again your god was defeated by 'Iron Chariots', but this time allowed evidence of Jesus to be destroyed in the process. God is imaginary Lie much for jesus, do ya?
