Nov 16, 2008 - Funny to see the Queen v U2 arguments as I was a fan of both at the time. U2 were the new boys on the block, close to, if not at their peak. This set was utterly fantastic.Queen were seen as has-beens and musically were past it but as can be seen, nobody comes close to Queen live. Not even U2.

Nov 17, 2008 - i no sooner wanted to hear queen perform i will follow , the fly or bad than i wanted to hear U2 perform tie your mother down , tear it up or one vision thanks. both bands are quite the best at what they do, or tragically in queens case what they did, i just thank god i saw freddie mercury sing with queen and as always look forward to the next U2 tour.

Nov 19, 2008 - My problem continues to be: Queen fans make the effort to come somewhere they don't want to be (U2 You Tube performance) to say how much better Queen are. So go listen to Queen! Why this constant need to declare to U2 fans that Queen were "better"? We just won't ever believe it :) I'm sure it hurts but learn to live with it.

Had set the tape recorder the night before and it took 3 six hr tapes to hold it all. Those tapes are long gone so You Tube is just savorumceous. who could put a name on U

Nov 21, 2008 - thank you for posting. a bit dissapointed at the cartoon interference at the point B man jumps to the crowd. You had to be there, like me, to appreciate how freakin brilliant this performance, this day was. Queen was frickin phenomenal that day, Bowie too.
