Feb 20, 2010 - @trysoccer First his skis were made of wood, little to no edge, i also want to see your technique with a shitty parachute attached to your back flying down 6600ft. You have probablly not even gone down a run over 2000ft. Also he was probablly tired from the hike up, not like today when you see Sage or Seth or who ever rip down a face as strong as ever, 90% of the time they got to the top via helicopter!! Don t judge so quickly, see on Everset, yeah right!!!!

GUMMYBEAYUH Says:

Feb 21, 2010 - @trysoccer Yeah, well enlighten us, how good would your technique be when coming down Everest? Climbers die on that mountain ALL the time, let alone imagine someone attempting to bloody ski that beast! You couldn't pay me with all the riches in the world, to make me even contemplate attempting such a dangerous and downright insane feat of mankind.

Everest is consider by my Kirat tribe as the abode of my ancestors and Kirateswor(Lord of Kiratas). Respect the Nature. It is not for you people to step on it. You people can never overcome Mt. Everest.

globe255 Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - I would do the same but i dont have the guts to do it. I prefer not to have broken legs. I wonder how this guy managed in the end.

StenStyren Says:

Mar 13, 2010 - @Sindel1972 Just like in the movie "Avatar" my tribe(Kirat) consider Mt. Everest as the abode of my ancestors and Kirateswor(Lord of Kiratas). So Respect the Nature and the Mountain Spirit. It is not for you people to step on it and make it as your tool for your selfish self-fulfilling need and collecting a trophy which is nothing worth. You people can never Conquer Mt. Everest or the Spirit of Kirateswor.

Mar 19, 2010 - My tribe (Kirat) is one of the oldest group in the world. Kirat also find references in RigVeda ~the oldest text dating back some 2000BCE--1800BCE where Kiratas fought the Aryan(Caucasoid) people. It's only after the fall of Hindu government that natives Kirat have been coming into limelight. plz respect my ancestors and Kirateswor(lord od Kiratas) sacred place(Everest). You can learn more about Kirat tribe here at this video --> "sakela~the greatest festival of kirat people" thank you

Mar 19, 2010 - This man later summitted Everest and for a while was the oldest person to do so...at 70 years of age. @arjunrudra Yes, he survived. @rasomaso You please try filming someone skiing down Everst from your vantage point at the base of the Lhotse face. @ferrisbueller9000 Clearly, you missed geography class.
