Nov 17, 2008 - Among the best I have experienced. The young Joe Cocker gives a heavy adrenaline kick, and yes, agree, its amazing that he can sing in that condition. Thats Joe Cocker!

Nov 22, 2008 - good call. I mean, its ridiculous.. its not like he just gave a marginal performance.. he belted that shit and i would put this in the top 25 of all time live performances. its sick. good for him, and i'm glad we get to share it.

cinerama62 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - "He's exhibiting an idiosyncratic physical intensity." In other words- Air Guitar - This is from "Mad Dogs and Englishmen' a year later(1970).The girl with the long black hair is,Rita Collidge, along with Leon Russell (top hat, before, Slash) Jimmy Page played lead guitar on the album version (1968).Thanks Wiki:

Nov 26, 2008 - what the fuk is wrong with you people dont post it as woodstock when it aint!!!!

xxoorrtt Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - For all you knowit all fucks, he has a mild form of MS that gives him his quirks. They are called knee jerk reactions. This is also not woodstock by any means. Cineraqma62 has it right. The stage was full with talent that night. Thanks for the post !!!!!

chriskiefer79 Says:

19electric Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - This is stunning

CR500freak Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - Cinerama62, the girl with long black hair (curved) is Pamela Polland. 'The Delta Lady' sings together with that black girl.

sbnewman Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - so why doesn't he have "knee jerk reactions" when he performs now?

sbnewman Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - well, since you apparently are a "know it all fuck", too, can you send me some info on Cocker having a disease? the reason I ask is because my dad and uncle have seen him several times dating back to his early days. they say he was perfectly normal unless he was on a variety of drugs, and then he twitched like what you see here. so if he was normal in some shows, and is normal in shows now... and there is NOTHING online about him having a disease... where exactly are you getting your info????

xxoorrtt Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - swbnewman he kept it a secret for may years because he did not want dropped by his record label. It`s a rare form of MS not sure what it`s called I saw an interview in the early 80's when he revealed it. I have seen him 4 times as well and he kicks ass each time btw! I will see if I can find some info but I have better things to do honestly than to make shit up on the internet for peoples entertainment!

sbnewman Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - well you would think that most people have better things to do, but I'm sure we've all seen shit on here that was hard to believe. I've heard that about Cocker in several different places, but I've never been able to find any info on it or the actual interview. my dad said that back in the day he was completely normal, but his guess was that rampant drug use caused some muscle issues... which was a struggle to believe as well. either way, you're right, he rocks.
