betty6328 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Me too, thought of him, not remembering it was his birthday.....he was amazing. There was pain in his music tho, I love it, but my friends think its suicide music....
betty6328 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - ....and to cobean? why dis on a site where people are remembering a great artist. Just to fuk with people? that is really lame. I feel sorry you are such an uneducated person.
mooserooy Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Not to be that guy... but I just totally had a similar thing.
HisDream919 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - The your friends have the wrong mindset when it comes to listening to his music. He was never suicidial,he was full of longing for a father he never met,who died around the same age he did. Thats what people don't realise when they listen to his angst in songs. I'm on my 5th listen here lol What a man. Listen to his fathers songs,Tim Buckley, dream letter, its about his wife and child, the one he never met. Its a must listen for all those who love Jeff.
betty6328 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - I know that. He still had a yearning for sumthin. If you are sad, it doesn't help. I know about His dad Tim, I am a huge fan of both. Its just when you are sad and you listen to sketches, the words are pretty intense. I just lost my dad suddenly and he loved JB, so listening to last goodbye and so real...is intense....but otherwise EHWY is the sexiest song ever.
betty6328 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - and I named my dog after him....:)Jeff Buckley the Mittersill Maverick.....
HisDream919 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Its good you can seek solce in jeffs songs. Thats hwta these songs are sung and written for,for all of us to listen and remember those we lost. Everybody here wants you is indeed the sesiext song ever sung. Its a spinetingler for those connected without a doubt :-)
cobead Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - PoopMonkey, You say I should burn kids???? What a sick emo-esque thing to say. I'm not completely surprized, let's say that I know how some of you $ley fans are degenerates.
perfectly1979 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Love that song :)
04nevermind Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Sorry if this isnt a serious enough point about a song that is stunningly beautiful, but I have never seen anyone look that good in a white t-shirt and lumberjack shirt!
imshadowynne Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - I think he should have been higher, but am really happy that he's on it, and not forgotten because he didn't leave a lot of work behind.
imshadowynne Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - If you thought about him last night (the 17th, I'm guessing, since your post was yesterday), you did think about him on his birthday. The day of your post (the 18th?) wasn't his birthday.
wondergirl19 Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - His voice sounds like an angel.
cobead Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - His voice is not that of an angel, you are transfixed by a harpie. Emos and all degenerate art fags suck. Even Dali had "morals." $ley on the other hand has pimped all you emos into submission and I think that you suck.
moorelvr7 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - I just like it-...kiss me please kiss me...:)
dazparkin Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Anybody hear the similarities between this and the goo goo dolls - iris? Instrumental wise, particularly in the middle 8 break.
PropMonkey87 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - I would hardly refer to your offspring as kids, let alone human, and think euthanasia would simply be the most humane way for them to deal with you being their father, if they exist. What's sick is that there might be a woman ridiculously ugly enough to be their mother for you
myeclecticmind Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Jeff Buckley was before the googoo dolls and has since died. one of the best song writers of all time!
stephielyn89 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - $ley....ugh that for one just proves you're an idiot.... furthermore what the fuck is wrong with acknowledging your emotions? and then chanelling those emotions into music? do you have no life experience? or is there a big barrier between you and your creativity?
NathanBlades Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - nothing is wrong!
shavemangin Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - hes alright, can someone please explain why lately he is getting so much attention. i dont hear anything special or unique in his lyrics or tunes or even his voice. i just dont understand how he came to be so praised?
Vnarvaez1 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Its not just latly, He's got the attention before and after his death. There are people who love his music and style and that's it. Btw Im one of those.
myeclecticmind Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Jeff Buckley inspired alot of the many independant song writers and singers today. You need to listen to all of his music and how it stands out from the rest. he came out with albums in the 90's thrown in the mix with Rap, hip hop, Grunge bands ect. I think he did very well on his own. Many artists are still praising him after his death. I enjoy his music.

Nov 18, 2008 - For no reason at all I thought about him at work last night even tough I haven't done so in a real long time and here I am. Now I see I'm not the only one. It's gotta be the wireless internet. lol.
