Jul 5, 2008 - Flowers in the Dirt seemed ok at the time, but I wasn't mad about listening to Elvis Costello's sneering on it. True, he wrote My Brave Face, but after appearing on the album, he wanted nothing more with it or with McCartney himself. Kind of left a bad taste for me.

Jul 25, 2008 - I was not mad about it. The one song that was ok was "Any PArticular Time." Save for that, it didn't thrill me. Also, the jam sessions he had with Steve Miller showed that he was kind of reaching, in my opinion. Just my view, mate.

Listening Tug of war LP on my turntable and reading its lyrics helped me a LOT in learning, it gave me a spark then in '83 and provided to open a window to the whole wide world. Sep 11, 2008 - paul looked great..like he did when he was a beatle..he didnt age...before he died..lennon looked like he was 60 years old..he was really a mess physically..i saw these pictures of john taken the day before he died..he looked awful...anorexic with bags under his eyes...haggard and very unhealthy his skin and hair..yet paul at that time looked years younger...proving paul had a better healthier home life and john was living in misery with that cunt yoko ono..john was a lousy dad to julian

Oct 7, 2008 - My favorite song from this album. I agree it should have been a hit. It's epic, in the tradition of Band On The Run and Live and Let Die, but more majestic. At the time tt was said to be about his relationship with John Lennon and kind of Paul's way of making amends after his death.

Oct 24, 2008 - It's strange you say that about Lennon. There were people that knew him and had seen him even on the day he was assassinated that said they had never seen him looking so good. He was off of drugs. He had a really healthy diet, he was composing again and he just had a very positive outlook on life. He also was a great dad to sean. Yes, he wasn't around Julian as much as he should have been and that is something he said he had always regretted.
