Some shots of what happens when birds take a dislike to each other in flight. It's fascinating how in some of the shots the smaller bird (a falcon called a hobby) makes a half-roll onto its back then rights itself just before knocking the larger bird (a buzzard) out of the sky.

Sep 23, 2008 - People, for starters those were NOT pigeons, harassing that hawk. I've been in the avian field for over 15yrs, i'd like to think pigeons would know better, considering there a prey item. For the record, those were FALCONS attacking that Hawk. Pigeons are great flyers, but they NEVER EVER would out stretch there feet, like these falcons did. That hawk is DAMN lucky, because for one thing hawks have NOTHING in flying ability like falcons do, and second two falcons could kill a hawk if necessary.
