Oct 25, 2008 - . So, I prayed, meditated and people were praying for me. I also have to admit that the vast majority of Doctor and people around were NOT supportive, but I choose to focus on the FEW that where. I exercised as much as I could. Yoga was a a great help physically and mentally. Even in my most weakened state I had 5 lp barbells under my bed and would do exercise everyday.

I had a supportive husband and although Im not a religious person, I am very Spiritual person.

Boxer34567 Says:
Nov 4, 2008 - Yeah I agree with you there totally, any cure to anything is a good mental outlook of the supporters and the patient, if you can keep a positive will to not die ETC you can do it.

Nov 4, 2008 - i would like to know what it is i dont have it im healthy i justw ant to no what it is lol

Nov 5, 2008 - Pimpslappaz.....if you would like a brochure I would be happy to email one to you... Lyme disease is the " great imitator." It can mimic many diseases such as ALS, MS, ANOREXIA NERVOUSA....just to name a few. Do you remember a bite or rash before you started to feel bad ??? Not everyone that has Lyme disease remembers a bite and those that do, do not always develop a rash. It is very important to have a physician that is a good detective. Ask him if he can order a Western blot test for you.

Nov 16, 2008 - Don't mistake! There are some diseases which know how much money u have.
desecrator2u Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - What a religious solution! God has created us and diseases too. He is responsible, not a solution.

Nov 17, 2008 - i had this some weeks ago,i mean isnt that scary..just 5 days penicillin and one week doxycyklin
EvilBlondeKitten Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Lyme disease is much easier to treat in the early stages. Left untreated, it can become a very serious illness. I have had Lyme disease for a minimum of 3 years. It went undiagnosed for at least 2. It is very possible that I will have it for the rest of my life. It becomes very hard to treat when you have had it for a long time. And it's just as hard to find a doctor that knows how to treat Lyme. Half of the problem is that most people (doctors included) don't realize how serious it is.
chocapicforever Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - yeah i know..i caught it at the very early time, but as far as i know only the first strage can be threated, but the second and the third one are very dangerous and there is a possibility to die.
EvilBlondeKitten Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - It's true that there is a possibility of someone dying of lyme. There are some people that have been treated at least to a point of functioning. However, it's extremely hard to do so when it wasn't treated early. Most doctors either deny that it exsists, or don't know exactly how to treat it. And many that have successful outcomes, get nailed for it in the end.
chocapicforever Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - yeah i totally agree.hope u will get better asap and get rid of the desease, wish u all the best.
EvilBlondeKitten Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Thank you. And I'm glad they caught it early on for you.

Dec 4, 2008 - See my personal profile for my Lyme history. But still wondering: Disseminated Borrelia (chronic Lyme) or antibiotic (doxy/cefuroxime; crossing blood brain barrier; possibly sending neuro-toxins deep into brain) induced lupus [AKA "Post-Lyme disease syndrome"]? If former, IV ceftriaxone indicated; latter, corticosteroids. Yet neither offered in six years of increasingly debilitating disease.
Azorka82 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - Also, federal report released this week confirming Gulf War Illness real referred to Bromide pills given the soldiers as possible cause. Bromide pills cross the blood brain barrier. Cause, cure, prevention or medical mayhem, aka Nazi eugenics?
