Sep 6, 2008 - I saw Anderson perform this live and you really need to see her do this live to appreciate where she's going. She's as much a performance artist as a musician. I believe she incorporated the internet in the show and had live feedback streaming while she was performing. One comment that I heard during the "concer" was that it seemed to attract people of all ages, and it certainly did.

cosmos34 Says:
Nov 4, 2008 - Laurie has mentioned that Homeland was born from the feeling she lost her country. Tonight, I hope she feels - as I do that hope has been restored. Barack Obama -- President Elect of the United States of America.
cosmos34 Says:
Nov 4, 2008 - The seceond line should have read, "Tonight, I hope she feels -- as I do -- that hope has been restored." Sorry, anal English major here ...
erondites Says:
Nov 5, 2008 - I have to say that I am rather surprised that this has a positive reaction. This song is quite frankly rather annoying. The lyrics may be clever, but the presentation is simply horrible. I can only ascribe anyone liking this to the "Emperor's new clothes" effect, wherein people say they like something because they want to seem intelligent.
vidimah Says:
Nov 9, 2008 - I think she's an verry important woman. For me she's a big inspiration. Hope she cry and yell heaveyr and louder. Mor Laurie More and a great tune

Barack Obama is Fraud, a Farce, a Joke, you screwballs been Duped and you Deserve to be. live all you want in some fantasy world of evil right-wing government conspiracies...what a bunch of dipshits, my goodness. and this broad sucks! -Muhldoon
Crijevo Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - She is a genius. Pure genius. This is brilliant. Brilliant!!!
electroluxia Says:
Dec 9, 2008 - Laurie is one of the few geniuses left among us. Additionally, she is one of the few artists out there who use vocoders creatively. Even beautifully.
joshke17 Says:
Dec 15, 2008 - Don't like that kind of music. Now.. talking about the lyrics - can all of you fix a dripping pipe? No, you call a plumber. And you're an expert of some of other specification (a lawyer, economist or else). So actually, yes, you may say that only an expert can deal with a problem.
bopplayer Says:
Dec 28, 2008 - She's married to Lou Reed...hmmm must be an interesting combo.
Ohkto Says:
Aug 15, 2008 - I'm amazed that such a petty level of flaming can break out for such a brilliant song by such a brilliant artist. To all the people (I'm looking at you, JimShoes1) who come here simply to state how much this sucks... ...don't watch it. Go back to your immature areas of the site and leave us the heck alone. Thank you.
