Nov 10, 2008 - I study War as two things. * How to engage in it if I should be forced in it. * How to avoid the paths that lead to it. As a principle, does that make me wrong?

brovic777 Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - As I hear this speech, nothing has really changed in America. Yea we now have a Black President, but even he wants more war in Afghanistan. Dr. King would be against this!!!

tendarine1 Says:

SugarHillServant Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - IF MLK were alive, would he support Barack? Would he support Reverend Wright? Would he support Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente? Would he work outside the framework of the Democrats and Republicans? Until we have listened to the full versions of all of his speeches and read his books and his various biographies, we can't really say we know or understand Dr. King. He is certainly broader and deeper than the I Have A Dream Icon that pop culture and the mainstream media have portayed him.

Nov 17, 2008 - The Pentagon currently owns or rents 702 overseas bases in about 130 countries and HAS another 6,000 bases in the United States and its territories. Why? This military empire jeopardizes our safety and freedom and has nothing to do with defending America.

amazingdany Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This speech is pretty much unknown to most people on this planet and it's a shame. People think MLK and they think civic rights and "I have a dream" speech immediately. Was Beyond Vietnam censored or what????

RSX1304 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Any man who puts his trust, life, sole being in Gods hands is greater than any man who does not

Nov 19, 2008 - 2 Chronicles 7:14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Like he said america has gotten arrogant we need to be humble

loveisgodgodislove1 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - what he said back then is a reflection of whats goin on today we put resources in a war that is not helping anybody but everything is in GODS hands and i believe that but we as a people have to stand up and help one another so Martin I miss your wisdom and understanding on things this speech is so super and true he came out of the bible with this we need to take care of the home front instead of others homefront so lets help the homeless and the starving instead of putting money into things use
