Christian the Lion- Reunion!

So these two people raised this lion cub who they named Christian, and sadly he got too big for them to take care of so they decided to release him to live as a wild lion. Well, in this footage, a year has passed and it looks like Christian's adapted to living with a pride of lions when his old friends come back to visit him. Watch closely and you can see the look of pure disbelief that dawns on his muzzle- it's awesome. ^_^ Next thing you know, we have a heart warming reunion. Not long after, members of Christian's pride approach and even they seem to accept Christian's human friends. Again, THIS IS NOT MINE! This footage from Christian's documentary was also kleptoed from www.kimbawlion.com- a FANTASTIC website about Kimba the White Lion. ^_^ So send all Kudos where it belongs! I'm only uploading these to give people who're oblivious to Kimba an idea as to what the heart of the series really is about. ^.^

Nov 28, 2008 - Not to ruin a beautiful video, but I saw the entire documentary starting from the discovery of the abused lion cub in England to sad(beyond this video) ending. This cub was NOT returned to the wild. The video takes place in a refuge in Africa. The old man is the care taker. The lion grows to adulthood, ends up attacking and mauling(?killing)one of the workers, and ends up having to be put down. Big lesson being that lions should be left alone and preserved in the wild.

Nov 28, 2008 - Sorry, ignore the previous post. Christian lived happily ever after. It was another male lion that killed a worker and had to be put down. I saw the documentary many years ago and my memory got jumbled up. Still, I think videos like this might tempt people to try to keep lions as pets.

Nov 30, 2008 - This is truly AMAZING...they rescued that lion from a life of shit in a cage and the lion never forgot that. I am a grown man ,and my eyes watered, truly touching. Goes to show how much better they are than humans. You can adopt a human and they will turn their back.
