Sep 15, 2008 - Mate Great vid, you didi an excellent job flying the approach in complete IMC, its not easy, I have done somewhere around 100 hrs or so now on that same approach working as a 737 simulator instructor and the thrill never dies. Even though you are using fs2004 with addon scenery, you have captured Kai Tak's essence including the untimate rush of commanding one of those big sukkas down to the numbers. !! Well done Mate.... Bloody good work. :)

Sep 19, 2008 - IGS is Instrument Guidance System. It's like an ILS but the beam is offset to the runway so it's not a landing system (since you can't follow it to the ground), it's a guidance system down to the point where you must do the landing yourself - in Kai Tak's case the right turn and short final.

Oct 19, 2008 - great airport but i can never get clearance to land i choose LDA to RW13 and enter the holding pattern at VOR CH at 8000ft... i could fly that pattern all day an di wont get clearance, and if i continue to fly the approach to GOLF and then 268 SL and then IGS to land i wont get clearance. ideas anyone?
