Apr 29, 2007 - . . . i hope your being sarcastic
StarFighter2000 Says:
Apr 29, 2007 - I'm never sarcastic. Sarcasm's for the weak and elderly.

Apr 29, 2007 - good one, i guess ur a fucking superhero... this album is gonna be sick, another kind of Train Of Thoughts album!
marimbit Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - if a minute's more than enough you belong listening to the top 40 stations like the rest of the damn country. most reasonable critics of music need at LEAST 3 or 4 listens of an entire CD before they can make any conclusive opinions about it. i hate when people judge entire CDs based on a single, much less 1/10 of one. it might suck, i don't know, but i'm at least willing to wait till june 5th to decide.
marimbit Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - panic attack? i can understand never enough, but panic attack? and besides, i personally think never enough was done intentionally to sound like stockholm syndrome, just to piss the ungrateful "fans" off. listen to the lyrics. to me, the song says, "hey, you don't like what we do? fine, we'll do someone else's music."
PCuttell Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - haha, yeah totally
NevrDie Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - no fair :x

Apr 30, 2007 - the last part of chorus in "panic attack" is like muse melodies... i miss the original unique sound of "awake".. i do not want to hear the other group's melodies in DT..i just wanted to say this.

Apr 30, 2007 - 1 - I'm a metal elitist. Don't use that top 40 shit against me. 2 - I have a talent that allows me to see the future of DT's music. this time it worked and it looks bad according to the other 2 FULL songs that are available on the internet. Check it. It's looks like DT are nu-metal now.
drummer819 Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - Check it.. 1. Everything they did with this album is a combination of things they have done in the past. 2. The songs looking bad is YOUR opinion. I'd wish that other bands would display the same musicianship that DT has..the music scene in metal and rock in general would be a much better place. 3. I assume you said the same when you heard SDoIT, and they are still around kicking everyone out of there path! Not everything has to be SFAM or I&W to be good.
magafi1984 Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - Muse is good, DT is good too. So whats the point??!"?!??! both bands rocks, and they have unique style... i dont see why are you discussing this...
drummer819 Says:
Apr 30, 2007 - Yeah..it's also weak and elderly like downing a band when you couldn't play 1/10 of the shit they pull off.
amishfrog Says:
May 1, 2007 - I don't understand why all you guys do is bitch all the time. We all like music and we all have different tastes in music, so why argue about it? No one is "right" in this situation. So what if you're a "metal elitist", pull your head out of your ass. DT is an awesome band. They try different flavors on each album, but always maintain the art and musicianship that make them Dream Theater. If you don't like it, get over it and go wack off to your elitist music.
drummer819 Says:
May 1, 2007 - Nope..Their songwriting hasn't gone to shit since FiI. In fact, that's the album that everyone started doubting their songwriting capabilities and inspiration..then SFAM was written and is some of their best work to date. I don't believe they are fighting each other's ego's either..because it seems they all have an equal part (except LaBrie) in what's written. Also, Rudess is just a different type of keyboardist than Moore or Sherinian are..which also accounts for the change in songwriting.

May 2, 2007 - In my opinion I don't like that they release live albums after every studio release.Just my opinion.

May 2, 2007 - It's the dvd's that go with the live albums that rule! I love it!
abshomali Says:
May 2, 2007 - "calling Dream Theater a ripoff of Muse is just stupid since Dream Theater has been producing music for so much longer". but I really dont agree with that. I mean, I dont think DT is ripping off MUSE I think it's great that they draw influence from bands and admit to it, but it does'nt make sense to say a band cant rip off another just because they have been making music longer. it does however make sense to say they wont rip off cuz they're DT !! ;)
abshomali Says:
May 2, 2007 - MUSE didnt copy DT, where didya get that??
drummer819 Says:
May 2, 2007 - Sorry..I was just trying to piss off some people. :) lol
marimbit Says:
Apr 29, 2007 - are you serious? you hear like a minute of the song....
