I guess because they think the american public is dumb and can't understand british comedy or language? 0_o I don't get it myself, personally. I love British TV waaay more then the crap they show in America. If you want to see some bad TV, just look up about 99 percent of the American shows. Horrible beyond words. =/

Nov 20, 2008 - Yes, you're right. Joel McHale from the Soup plays Roy. He even advertised the show on the Soup for a long time. For some reason, NBC never even aired one episode. They filmed an entire series, but never actually got around to airing it on TV. The website is still around, but it doesn't offer any information.
