Aug 6, 2008 - In LA it's not very uncommon to run into him. He's still Mr. "Man-about-town" in Hollywood. When I first started hanging out in the punk scene he was always showing up when he was not welcome, and freaking out all of us little punk kids with his "dog" rhetoric and Frankenstein-like presence. Nothing's changed. He still hangs out but now it's an even younger crowd and they're all freaked out by him.

All we have here is concerts in nearby South Bend, and no way is somebody like Foley gonna show up. Er, well, Morrissey did do a gig in S. Bend once, tho'... I remember Foley's "'dog' rhetoric". "Frankenstein-like presence" is dead-on, too. I'd love to see Foley co-host "Svengoolie" with Rich Koz on WCIU channel 26 in Chicago.
