Dec 2, 2008 - "he shoulda just kept it to the one question but the punishment doesn't fit the crime" Bullshit. You're a complete fucking idiot underdog. Cutting the mic was absolutely appropriate, he wouldn't shut the fuck up even AFTER being told his time was up so he left them no choice. His tasing had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING he said & nothing your dumb ass can say will change that. He was tased for resisting arrerest & it's a prefectly legal & reasonable response to a combative, noncompliant subject.
virtualdynamo Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - "doesn't justify the tasing tho" It IS justified. They held him down for a whole minute while he was struggling and scremaing before tasing him (which they did for about 3 seconds - just long enoug to get his free arm cuffed to the other one). They told him, very firmly yet calmly, numeorus times to put his hand behind his back or be tased. Not only did he refuse to comply, but he was screaming for help and acting like they were doing damage to them when the video shows they were not.

Dec 2, 2008 - "he shoulda just kept it to the one question but the punishment doesn't fit the crime" What punishment? Being kikced out? Because that is ALL that happened because of the way he acted at the mic. The arrest was a minute later because he wouldn't leave and was screaming to the crowd like a lunatic. The tasing was another minute later after they gave him ample oppurtunity to let them cuff his free arm.

Dec 3, 2008 - the removal part is opinion cus yea its what the rules were but its not like he said anything bad....... the had alot of police on him once he was on the ground.. they ddnt have to tase him.....and yea i dont think anyone is arguing about him being in a kind of excited state... you could tell he rly wanted to show Kerry he knew a thing or two
Zamorack13 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - democracy is nothing more then mob mentality, i whole hardheartedly agree with underdog this man shouldn't have been taszed. they wanted to try out there new toy so bad you can hear it buzzing at 1:53,tazers are inhuman treatment. i think id rather be gun in the stomach then take a tazer.
redrumrob Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - "i whole hardheartedly agree with underdog this man shouldn't have been taszed." Then you don't know what you're talking about either & do NOT have the facts on your side.
redrumrob Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - "its not like he said anything bad" Again, what he said at the mic was break ALL of the forum rules. What he DID before AND after was to break the law. I'll list them for you. Disorderly Conduct Disturbing the Peace Trespassing Resisting an Officer with Violence Inciting a Riot Resisting Arrest
underdog92z Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - man your all over these videos :),i wasnt say anything about the law.... just about what he was saying, what was said in itself, like i talked with you in the other video.. if that's the law than i do not support it....and you even said that if they came up with another law that you thought was better than yea,cuz there must be another answer than tasing a guy..... it was the rules and yes it should be taken into consideration before you act on something but i will not stick up for an unjust law
underdog92z Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - continued....and i think Meyer's complaining and yelling were right after he was tased ... wouldn't you...and for the inciting the riot,i know theres a law but i dont think he was starting a riot even though he was held accountable...and for disturbing the peace.. thats all opinion, the police as well as Meyer were both making a scene...but if the law is to tase a man after he is being held down by 5 police... well than its just wrong...and as i said b4 thers a fine line between illegal and wrong
mikeyg76 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - perhaps if you lived in a town where the campus police had more to do than cite bicycles and harass the students of UF you would understand the frustration of the denizens of Gainesville. leave the rhetoric and proper spelling to the people who deal with these shits on a regular basis. and FYI-i was on a sidewalk-which if you check the Florida Statutes-have the same rights as pedestrians-do you even live in Florida? he almost T-boned me because he was such a pencil-dicked flunky.
michaelmoorestinks Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - I have six sons, two of them DO live in Gainesville, Florida, and one of them GOES to UF.
redrumrob Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - "and i think Meyer's complaining and yelling were right after he was tased" He was not in an trouble for his whining after he was tased. They had him in cuffs & were removing him.
virtualdynamo Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - Your definition of unjust is odd, then.
virtualdynamo Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - "i think Meyer's complaining and yelling were right after he was tased" That's ridiculous. Did you watch the video? Even if you didn't know that he pushed he was screaming about being arrested before he even asked a question, clearly you saw his performance for a full 2 minutes between the time the mic was cut & he was stunned for 3 seconds? "but if the law is to tase a man after he is being held down by 5 police" What!? The law is that he lets them cuff him or they force him to do so.
mikeyg76 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - i'm sorry, i don't believe i was addressing you in particular, michaelmoore. you don't live in gainesville by proxy of your two sons, here. kudos to you that one son managed to eke his way into one of the few decent schools in the Deep South. proud of ya.
underdog92z Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - i said after he was stunned not before.... everyone can see he was in a sort of excited state before...... once again the tase was not necessary with 5 police holding him down.....
virtualdynamo Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - "once again the tase was not necessary with 5 police holding him down" What do you think they tased him for? He was stunned in the shoulder for 3 seconds while they safely cuffed him. Were they supposed to hold him down all night? Break his arm? Wait for him to fall asleep? Once they took him to the ground he was under arrest & ordered to put his hands behind his back. He refused & fought them while screaming for help for a whole minute before being tased after numerous warnings.
kardan77 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - I don't think tasers were necessary check youtube "COPS BEAT ME"
underdog92z Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - i believe he said what did i do and don't tase me bro... while he was on the ground......... was he acting up earlier... ummm duh.....he as well as the police were making a scene......the point is that the tase was uncessary..... justify it all you want but i guess we all have our opinions
XD4133 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - wtf inciting a riot he was asking an important question bullshit. Those cops probably don't even know what his questions meant. DID OF THE COPS HERE KERRY ABOUT TO ANSWER THOSE QUESTIONS? that makes no sense. You arrest someone for inciting a riot without a riot ever occuring? Pardon me but thats fucking stupid. You can't percieve the goddam future! for all we know he could have just gotten a very good answer that that would have been it.
redrumrob Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - "that makes no sense. You arrest someone for inciting a riot without a riot ever occuring?" Yeah, it doesn't say Leading a Riot or Directing a Riot. The fact is, the Q&A had already been announced to be over before Meyer started pushing people out of his way, yelling & cursing at Kerry & trying to get to a mic. He was confronted by Police & ordered to leave but he refused. That's Disorderly Conduct &, under Fl law, Trespassing. The facts & laws aren't on your side on this subject.

theylive123 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - The Skull and Bones comments were cheesy sounding. He should have said ,"aren't you Bush's third cousin." There is no such thing as democracy. It isn't a coincidence that third cousins are competing for the most powerful political position in the world. It is feudalism. Just walk away from the political system. Stop participating. Stop paying taxes. Stop watching the news. I no longer acknowledge the existence of the government. As far as I can tell it is all run by the mafia.
redrumrob Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - "theylive123 "Get up get get get down 911s a joke in yo town." - Flava Flave" I've met him, he's a very interesting individual. We drank together after a show he did in Seattle a few years back. He's a lot smaller than I'd imagined him to be.
underdog92z Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - yeaa but that in your opinion..... he wanted to explain himself before he asked the question which was all good.... he shoulda just kept it to the one question but the punishment doesn't fit the crime
