Dec 6, 2006 - There's more features we don't know about, one of which is the wireless standard. I used be a windows user, I switched last year. I know from using front row and my Mac that Apple understands two things: 1. Easy of use. 2. UI (user interface). I would bet money that this thing will be easier to use, than buttering toast.

Dec 14, 2006 - the ipod has completely replaced the cd, the itv will replace dvds, high def content will become important but as someone that loves the increased room i've found in my car and media center, it'll be great to get rid of those dvd cases and stop worrying about scratching disks

Yes, you are correct that there are numerous cheaper superior alternatives to this product, but they involve a learning curve and elbow grease. All they have to do is put an ipod dock to this, and maybe some onboard memory to track and store movie info from say.... imdb, and BOOM this would make a smashing sale. this is just a half ass gimik.
