Aug 31, 2007 - to be honest, i agree with u. perhaps it was a little over my head but to me the narrative seemed shakey at best. perhaps its more to do with the method of animation or they simply wanted to take things into bizarre areas. but it sections of the 'story' were all over the place, and not for the better. it doesnt ditract from the fact that its a fantastic idea and in places it really did shine. my 2 cents...

Jun 16, 2008 - no, you can't use avid to do this, because these aren't digital effects. This was hand made: 65,000 print outs of film frames were folded into 3D objects. Good luck doing that with avid, organically.
