guatay Says:

Nov 8, 2008 - Pres. elect obama wants to tax the rich & business making >$250k. The argument is that tax breaks will enable mid-class to purchase more, which helps business. But, the mid-class may not have jobs if high taxes inhibit business from operating, growth projects, all of which create jobs. Management precept: When organizations become stagnant, they die. That's why $ for research/development, projects, growth is vital to a nation's economy! Spreading wealth/socialism won't work!

Turbolancelot Says:

Nov 9, 2008 - Man, she's on fire!

Jas0nH Says:

godozo Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - So...you say "Tax the poor, subsidize the rich?" That's what we've been doing for the past thirty years, we're about to enter a depression because of it.

guatay Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - godozo, the economy just had a heart attack & raising taxes on business is asking it to run a marathon. Now more than ever businesses/rich need every dime to sustain jobs & what's left of the economy. Increasing corporate taxes will cause corps to sell marketable securities invested in other corps. All corps will do that, meaning less $ for projects, growth, & JOBS! There's more, but not enough space to explain. Good to protect corps, not bite the hand that feeds us. P.S. guatay isn't rich.

priceman420 Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - You must be blind. Your wonderful corporate bailout is failing and has no transparency and dividends funded by taxpayers are going to their shareholders and those securities are toxic meaning they have not "matured." It's total BS. Unregulated CDS passes bad assets everywhere and no one wants bad toxic assets and corporations and Investment bankers should have to file chapter 11 bankruptcy. If there were projects and jobs, they wouldn't need taxpayer revenue. Sorry you know nothing, Marcy does.

MMel857 Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - SocialAutism asked "Why did no one listen to this woman?" Because they're to busy listening to Nancy Pelosi. Bail out the car companies? Sure, why not? So what they don't have the foresight to see the writing on the wall and weren't ready to produce fuel efficient vehicles. At least some members of Congress were smart enough to call the CEO's of the Big 3 before a congessional hearing to find out what guarentees they can make that they won't fold after receiving billions of our dollars.

turbomyl Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - God bless you Marcy

Xcitnite Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - 300,000,000 people in USA 75,000,000 (4 people per family) 18,750,000 (wage bracket of 200k and above) 56,250,000 (wage bracket below 200k) 20,000 (average money owed per family) ***excluding mortgage*** 56,250,000 x 20,000 ------------ 1,125,000,000,000 cash bailout total cost This will inject hope and promise into our economy. A real bailout for America.. Instead of helping the already wealthy, help the omes who are the "true" movers and shakers.

fooschnikens Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - Can somebody please explain to me why we're still protecting Japan for free under the terms we set after WW2? Japan has no military expenses (unlike us), so the Japanese government just pours all their money into research and development for companies like sony and toyota and then those companies run ten times more efficiently than American companies like Ford and GE because they receive tons of money from the Japanese government, then the Japanese companies put our companies out of business.WTF

kuza01 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - We are still in countries like Japan, Germany, and other countries because the Defense industry. The Military Industrial Complex is reaping in all the benefits. Its funny how America forgets the warnings of two of its greatest military leaders.

ThomasCovenant432 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - only thing thats going to happen if we get a bunch of free money is a shit ton of inflation that ppl will use as an excuse to make extra profit, and half of the ppl who get the money are so tied up in shit anyway it wont help, its a great idea but just not what we need, we could always focus all of that money into starting and taxing a new industry that would in turn make billions of dollars a year.. got any idea what that would be? your gunna laugh.. sell pot legaly, and tax the shit out of it

trevoreriksmoen Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - you're kinda retarded huh? well, don't worry, barack will take good care of you
