Concept and plot of the doggy-style teleserye of Angel and Piolo entitled "Lobo" came from old school werewolf movies like Wolf, The Lost Boys, The Howling etc. But based on the teaser/trailer from this URL... http://tagpuan.com/abs-cbns-lobo-teaser-video-clip/ ...It was very obvious that some scenes were copied from the 2007 hollywood movie entitled "Blood & Chocolate". The hollywood movie was a flop. (Notice how Angel Locsin jumped and turned into a werewolf) 'Blood and Chocolate' stars Agnes Bruckner ('24'), Hugh Dancy ('Basic Instinct 2') and Olivier Martinez ('Taking Lives') and is directed by German independent film director Katja von Garnier ('Bandits'). The story takes place in modern day Bucharest and tells the tale of nineteen year old Vivian Gandillon (Bruckner), who has spent her life on the run from the truth.... that she is a werewolf. When her affections for a visiting American artist threaten to expose her family's secret society, she must choose between her love for an outsider and betraying the secret vows of her family. Kapamilya's claimed that lobo was original... from the original script of Ricky Lee... Kapamilya, na_Yari Ka ng sarili mong Kapamilya!

May 6, 2008 - What's the purpose of this video? From the start, it was already known that Lobo is not "original" in the sense that the story is anchored on a werewolf theme and Blood-Chocolate is just one of those werewolf-themed stories. What's original (and much appreciated)in LOBO is the ENTIRE production value which includes the ORIGINAL screenplay, cinematography, musical score, editing, and directing. ...continuued...

May 6, 2008 - ...continuation... The maker of this video should not readily dismiss LOBO as cop-out just because of its werewolf-inspired theme. Lobo may have been inspired by Blood-Chocolate but the storyline(screenplay) of LOBO is ever original. Dude, you should, at least, try watching an episode before you collage an ugly video like this one.

May 9, 2008 - ALL characters in stories make "choices" in the end. In LOBO, choosing love, family, or none will be inevitable, of course. Choosing 'love' or 'family' are two general themes on which story endings are anchored. And these 'choices' have already been displayed a hundred times in films or TV series (in this case). The B&C character had two choices as much as Little Mermaid had or Dyesebel had.

You find a werewolf-themed, 'choice-based ending' movie, find a book with a similar theme but a different ending...and...puff! Poor LOBO, whatever 'ending' it will have will never be original (for you). Well, I guess the Kapams you were referring to will need a logically sound argument before they become persuaded with your misleading argument.
