Nov 18, 2008 - good question, couple of points... - Both Eat To The Beat and Parallel Lines featured a high density of quality singles, so the theory goes, only an "X" amount will be allocated as singles. - Both albums mentioned were released in the late '70's, Blondie's sound was still considered unconventional by top 40 radio, even though they moved a little more to the mainstream with the two albums mentioned. great band, great sound, made great records that stand the test of time.
