Dec 15, 2008 - Approach it differently. Think about the number of people involved, each having to know their part, each performing it at the right time, the rehearsals, organizing, directing the event, the camera crew, the event crew, their love of the music, the music itself (this performance used the most up to date translation and the complete score). As to length, grateful dead used to play for hours. Drop drugs to this music and they scrape you off the ceiling It's the soundtrack to "The Omen" as well.

Dec 28, 2008 - Nice, Dr. Gray is my current voice teacher! I enjoy his Bach and Schumann interpretations a little more than this, but props to him for owning this tough solo!

ThaSchwab Says:

Jan 1, 2009 - I have a question; are there faculty members in the orchestra? Like professors?

spikethepoet Says:

Jan 1, 2009 - According to the UC Davis Deparment. of Music, the Symphony Orchestra consists of "Undergraduate students, Graduate students", and "members of the University Community." I would say the undergrads are in the majority. The Alumni Chorus joins in on major productions.

Woe! what have you done, vilest Fate? the joys of my life you have taken all away!
