Nov 21, 2008 - this is a very emotional song . i feel comparing his wifes death to the death of someone you knew is to take away the real meaning of the song. losing his wife and bringing up his child alone must have been so painful we cant even imagine. so i disagree with those who post such comments as for my mate.. that is not what he wrote it for he wrote it to channel his pain and release it in a way he could, through singing. so as i said keep ur comments to yourself this song goes much deeper than that.
