Oct 10, 2008 - I acually own a 680i Motherboard right now and it has done incredibly well for me, i have a Core 2 Quad in there which smoothly overclocked to 3.5GHZ and an EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked which is beastly overclocked to 735/1850/2.2 and runs stable! Its time for an upgrade tho, and im stuck whether or not i should get the EVGA 780i FTW Tri-sli motherboard and a 2nd Superclocked 8800GT or a CrossFire Chipset with a single HD4870 which gets LESS fps than Dual 8800GT specially Superclocked then OC'd.

Nov 10, 2008 - Is there any motherboard updates to this one that are better?

martinolatino123 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - Yea with 2 9500gts on mid settings it'll work fine but 9800gt or 9600gt much better just saying ;D

drunken88 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Ati 4870 = best price/performance.

drunken88 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The CPU, GPU's, MOBO are FAIL, You should have gotten Intel e8400, or q6600, then ATi 4870/4850 and Asus P5Q pro, the ram is fine, only if you paid 40-60 dollars, if you paid more, fuck.

RawbertDestruct Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - You can Flash the Bios on the this motherboard to P34 and it thinks its a full SLI board. Makes it wayyy more over clockable. Before i did it i could only OC my cpu to 3.4 ghz now it OC to 4.3 ghz with a ease..
