Feb 18, 2008 - This really is a beautiful version of this song. Jim Hall and Michel Petrucciani are two of the most tasteful jazz musicians I've ever heard. Seriously good stuff.

Mar 27, 2008 - iampergamos It reminds you of who again? Hey how come no one told me we had a midget jazz pianist? How does he make an octave let alone a tenth

Apr 9, 2008 - Jim Hall actually has been known to use quite a bit of FX processing...certainly he is not "hiding behind them" and he doesn't need them to sound great, but he often uses chorus and I think even an octave pedal which I am not to fond of.

Apr 13, 2008 - I hear echoes of Jim's style in Pat Metheny, Mick Goodrick, and Toninho Horta. This is a fabulous clip. Thanks for posting!

May 11, 2008 - I wouldn't worry abour it..Johnny Eck in Baltimore had a 12 piece band. He played piano and was the leader. He was born without ANYTHING below his waste..He lived into his 80's. You can see him in utube public domain Freaks 1932, although his does not play, just acts...He was a wonderfull person. He climbed the Washington Monument stairs to prove his strength without legs!!!

Sep 14, 2008 - beautiful
Putytand Says:
Oct 1, 2008 - It would be pretty pretentious and unnecessary to present Jim Hall. A genious was being created during about the 60'. Show this video to your friends, publicize this divine video. I don't know how much time left to Jim to stay with us, he's very old now. A legend, a truly revolutionary. THANK YOU JIM HALL.
