Nov 13, 2008 - In fact, I have Vista on a desktop and a laptop. Windows is supposed to be user-friendly, yet I constantly find myself trying to fix it for the person to whom it belongs: we even needed to re-install Windows because it soon became unresponsive. After that - well, I obviously installed any number of open-source applications and anti-virus, just to make certain it didn't happen again. Did the same on the desktop just so I didn't have to go through the trouble a second time!

Nov 15, 2008 - i tried to install a game on vista... it failed so i tried to reinstall by deleting all the programs of tht game. But it doesnt let me reinstall, the only option is "play game" and if u click it nothings comes up. also while doing homeword windows automaticaly shuts down and tht takes ages! h8 fking vista
Gooseman127 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - I'm glad that microsoft didn't "copy" the dock. That shit's retarded. Also, trying Mac, Windows, and Ubuntu, the best is Windows. Funny, but for me Windows "Just works." take that fan boys. or in other words, go fuck yourself.
DaveTV2 Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - Your ignorant opinion about it aside, Apple had the Dock patented. So I am sure they would have "copied" the dock if they could have. But that did not stop from "copying" the LOOK of the OSX desktop by creating the "sidebar" which gives you the same design of icons down the side of the screen without actually infringing on their patent. Very clever actually but yet still very pathetic!
iphone123trainn Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - Well, I'd have to say my opinion isn't ignorant, but I agree about the sidebar thing. Which I hate anyway, mine is disabled :D
DaveTV2 Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - You are right it is not your opinion that is "ignorant" but the use of words like "retarded", "fanboys" and statements "go fuck yourself" are.
iphone123trainn Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - .... touche
tellmeliesx Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - Mac is honestly better, if you say otherwise... then yer pree dumb :)
mccoyzkie Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - I award your netiquette with a thumbs down spam warning. - Windows fan.
mccoyzkie Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - And I'm referring to iphone123trainn. :D

Nov 18, 2008 - man what is this fucking discussion all about let everyone decide on their own! I personally think, that apple has stolen more from windows as the other way round, i mean who invented personal computing???!!! AND I JUST LIKE WINDOWS MORE THAN APPLE Even the i phone isnt as good as products from other mobil companies!
sral1987 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - from my point of view it is all wrong what he is saying, i mean how many ways of presenting something on a screen do you have?!?! You fcuking present a calender the way a fucking calender looks like!!! This is so childish
scienceguy8 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - "I personally think, that apple has stolen more from windows as the other way round, i mean who invented personal computing???!!!" Technically, neither. Microsoft only makes software, not personal computers, and Apple, while they beat Microsoft in making PC consumer products, were themselves beaten by fellow hobbyists (the first Apple Computers were kits built in Wozniak's garage).

Nov 19, 2008 - "yer pree dumb"? next time you're going to insult someone's intelligence make sure not to sound like an idiot doing it.
tellmeliesx Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - For your information I wasn't insulting anyones intellgence. I was just putting my opinon out there, okay? If you don't like it, don't bother commenting someone. Kay thanks (:
supdawg444 Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - "If you say otherwise - than yer pree dumb" anyone who disagrees with you is dumb, dumb means unintelligent, therefore anyone who disagrees with you has low intelligence = insulting their intelligence. besides, saying everybody who disagrees with you is stupid is pretty much the most fallible argument out there. are you like 12 or something? have you ever even used a PC? that wasn't running windows ME?
tellmeliesx Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - I HAVE used a PC and they SUCK.
choc0chipz Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - death to PCs! :D
supdawg444 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - so, you are twelve. what OS was it running?
tellmeliesx Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Haha. I'm not twelve. Just cause I have an opinon, that makes twelve? Okay.
supdawg444 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - no, your bad grammar and lack of an actual argument "makes twelve"
SmartGuyMan Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - This is so true.
Thesupermadman Says:
Nov 13, 2008 - Come on, be realistic. Even ls is better then dir! Unix command line: Can run any program installed (all programs are stored/linked in one of the $PATH directories); Can give output for what a program is doing, which can be invaluable for debugging crashes (Something Windows NEVER does); Can do a variety of tasks without leaving the command line, such as downloading files, installing programs, desktop searches - even order pizza, for crying out loud! And I'm not bullshiting. I DO have vista.
