Sep 14, 2008 - all 咒,or Mantra are in Sanskrit, this one is no exception. the chinese characters are just there to aid your pronunciation.

Oct 4, 2008 - what does sanskirt means ??

ren2ren2 Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - i did a GOOGLE search for sanskirt: "Sanskrit (săn`skrĭt), language belonging to the Indic group of the Indo-Iranian subfamily of the Indo-European family of languages (see Indo-Iranian Indo-Iranian, subfamily of the Indo-European family of languages, spoken by more than a billion people, chiefly in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka ....." you can serch for more info

ren2ren2 Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - i read somewhere that sa po ho means 'hail". It's fun to keep some myth in mantra. Did not Budda teach me "not to attach to anything" ? i just like the basic and simple sound (ai, ei, i, o, u ) in the sanskirt, especial mantra 41,42,43,44,45,46....

ren2ren2 Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - Sanskirt 41 :

ren2ren2 Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - Sanskirt 53 : 悉陀夜(义).娑婆诃(有成就者). Sanskirt 55 : 摩诃悉陀夜(大义).娑婆诃(有大成就者) Sanskirt 57 : 悉陀喻艺(无为).室皤啰耶(得大自在).娑婆诃(于悉地与瑜伽有自在者)

ren2ren2 Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - I just post some Chinese translation for "sa po ho" (娑婆诃). You can see sa po ho is more as "praise the lord" in Christian, or "Ala,the true God" in Muslim. The difference is that budda defined more. so "Hail" is pretty good translation in general.
