Nov 16, 2008 - The Dark Knight sucked as a whole i.m.o. I'd give the Joker credit, but he had his on and off scenes. I hate how they always portray Batman wrong, if you compare cartoon personality to the real portrals it's just stupid. Batman does not seem as suave as he should be and charismatic. The Two-Face was an awesome character in this, but the movie didn't deliver for me other than the sarcastic Joker scenes. Nothing to go psycho about.

If you want to watch a campy, charismatic Batman, I would reccomend "Batman and Robin" if you want to see a deep, twisted psychological and philosophical batman movie, then The Dark Knight is the answer. Im pretty sure they had no intention of basing this story off of the cartoons. This is a new take on Batman, a 100% realistic take. im sorry, but your an idiot if you think this movie should be more like the cartoons.

Many times in the comics Bruce Wayne shows off his wealth and even fakes being drunk (like in the Batman Begins and The graphic novel Year One) to make people think he's the opposite of Batman.
