Here is a clip of "Pfft You Were Gone" from Hee Haw's 10th anniversary special with many guest "Pffts". I've always had a love hate relationship with Hee Haw, on one hand you get classic country performers in their flower before it being a singer ment wearing a ten gallon hat a wireless mic and going on how they are more patriotic then thou. Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed and Loretta Lynn are a joy to behold but between them you have jokes that sound like the staff found them printed on a pack of Bazooka Bubble Gum or a Dixie Riddle Cup. And the dance numbers remind me of The Lawrence Welk show for hillbillies. I could never be a hillbilly, I went to college, have all my teeth and my sister can out run me but I do own 4 Lynyrd Skynyrd albums on 8 track tape. Still they were a major player during the hillybilly invasion of the 60's along with The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, and even the Hillbilly Bears cartoon.

Oct 25, 2008 - I grew up watching this, and have it ingrained in my memory (that and Barbie Benton). But other than banjo music, you just can't be depressed after you hear a song like this! Even better when you can sing it on your own!
LesbianVampireLover Says:
Oct 26, 2008 - You can't have Barbie Benton ingrained too much in your memory. (pant, pant)
