Nov 18, 2008 - Trying2keepitsimple: "New Found Glory's version is amazing. It's just whatever genre you're into.. " No my friend, it does not depend on what genre you're into, NOTHING's as good as Dylan's versions of his own songs. It's like saying that if Britney Spears does a remix of blowin in the wind, feat. Paris Hilton, then it could be better if you're more into Britney than Bob ..

Nov 20, 2008 - cyril8727, I agree that the covers aren't as good as Bob Dylan's versions of his own songs. But that does not mean that all Bob Dylan covers suck. You're example with Bbritney and Paris does suck though because i don't think they ever covered one of Dylan's songs but there were lots of good bands who did cover Dylan's songs. For example, The Byrds cover of "Mr. Tambourine Man" and both the Eric Clapton and the Guns N' Roses version of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" are all really cool covers.

Nov 30, 2008 - His voice complements his lyrics with bloody perfection. Open your ears. He ain't supposed to sing like Sinatra.

Nov 30, 2008 - Bob Dylan was an outstanding singer. Never missed one note. It's called style.

Dec 3, 2008 - I don't know why people are thumbs-downing you, it's a true statement. However, I think his voice now resembles the weathered man he is, which I sort of like. Changes with the times, just like him.
