CAPgirl401997 Says:
Jun 1, 2008 - Hey... great video and great program. At first I was excited because I've been to WCA, just not this WCA... haha. Wisconsin Cadet Academy. It looks like we even run ours the same way. Definitely an unforgettable learning experience... the candidates [now graduates] and cadre are people I will never forget. Hooah.
CAPgirl401997 Says:
Jun 1, 2008 - Grade is the term CAP members use to refer to what the military calls "rank."
bball2953 Says:
Jun 2, 2008 - THanks for responding.
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Jun 2, 2008 - Yea, I am making the program manual into pdf. I am having some problems. Sorry...
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - I don't know if I have what it takes for this, it actually looks pretty intense
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - It is the best leadership training ever.
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - ever?
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - OK, best Para-Military (youth) training...
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I would argue that playing sports and leading a normal healthy life makes a person more well rounded and prepared to be a leader. This fake military for kids just seems outdated.
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - The difference is that organized sports are all about getting the best players on the team. Whereas the CAP is about training cadets to be leaders which inherently makes them concerned about the development of others. In which program will the "natural" leaders excel? In which program will the "not so natural" leaders get the chance?
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - This is the Civil Air Patrol. Its members are civilian volunteers and spend most of their lives "normally". The leadership skills that I have learned in this program affect every aspect of my normal life. I want to work with kids who want to live "better than normal" lives =0 Live Hard-Core.
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - So you're saying that the kids that can't play sports join CAP? Evidence of this lies at 3:35 and 4:40 in the video.
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - If you really want to excel at CAP or JROTC and get anything out of it, you have to devote one thing to it, time. Mornings, afternoons, weekends, all wasted becoming social recluses. ps- Live Hard-Core...really?? Does every CAP member get that tattooed on their chest?
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Do you know that CAP cadets attend middle and high schools? Many members are involved in sports. One of my adult members coaches multiple soccer teams. The Civil Air Patrol is an extra curricular activity. They are only required to spend three hours each week. They can also attend optional activities throughout the year. What is your issue?
andocommando06 Says:
Aug 22, 2008 - My issue is that every CAP member I have met tries to show how big thier balls are. On the other hand almost everyone I have met that is in the real military does not.
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Aug 22, 2008 - Where have you met CAP members? I know that what you are saying is true with regards to areas such as Florida and Cali. Many of the other areas are not like that at all.
bekkil5 Says:
Sep 9, 2008 - That's so cool! I just joined CAP... cool vid.
Gurkel79 Says:
Nov 14, 2008 - That was a really good video nice job.

slapshooter101 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - what if the CAP member is a female?? NO BALLS haha
LynxMK1 Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - why has that guy got his hands crossed over he chest at the beginning? im just wondering. Im the the ATC in England.
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - This is a color guard. He is holding the folded US flag. Do you fold your flags into triangles?
LynxMK1 Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - cool thanks. no we dont fold them into triangles, but we have this special drill movement to unpack the flag and re pack it.
GuessWhoIndustries Says:
May 13, 2008 - Yea, it is in Washington. What is your CAP Grade? Why don't you start your own. I can e-mail you info and such if you want. High Speed.
