multibuddhaneo Says:
Oct 5, 2008 - this is the same thing that happened during hurricane andrew cover-up in south florida years ago. there are numerous publications about the piles of bodies and of fema and other federal troops passing by wounded people as they lie dying. you HAVE to question when the 'government' blocks the flow of information. THATS THE POINT
quaheedus Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - Shouldnt you be over on the 911 conspiracy and Loose Change videos!
dfarm123 Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - Here in Houston, Wayne Dolcefino has about as much journalistic credibility as a stray dog.
mrobertb Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Sometimes the people in positions of "authorities" don't deserve respect. Respect has to be earned, it doesn't come as a package when you're elected to office! Rick Perry is a corrupt low-life scumbag who has used his position as Governor to enrich himself and defraud the people of Texas. He doesn't deserve "respect"!
jade0425 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Wayne is an idiot and is the most despised reporter in Houston. He has no compassion for others! He only wants the 'story'. He's a disgrace and Channel 13 (ABC) should be ashamed, although I'm sure that they're not!
trying2awaken Says:
Oct 13, 2008 - i think anyone who wants to stay in their homes has the right to.they know the consequences. and for those saying they put the first responders life at risk?? well if they dont like being put at risk then maybe they should get a diff. job.they are their to help the people who decide to stay or what not.everyone speaking like those people broke the law or something and deserve what they got are just manipulated by everything the media has told them. word for word to may i add :). this is AMERICA!
mklitt Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - He has good hair, though!
mrobertb Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - As the late great Molly Ivins said, Rick Perry has a head of hair every Texan can be proud of. Hence her nickname for him was "Gov. Goodhair". I miss her so much!
spiritsmom1 Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - I really don't know who this guy was that was expressing his frustration over not knowing. I know he is a reporter and he is the Media. But I am right there with him. The Media has been kept away from reality. How is the public going to make something right when the Media can't even tell the public what has gone wrong???
spiritsmom1 Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - Cont: The whole thing that happened in TX is wrong. The Media may be a big pain sometimes when they keep going over and over the same issue, but when the Media is kept out when a huge tragedy happens and they can't let the public know I think that is just terrible. Honestly, I don't think the Media was in there enough to let the public know what really happened with Katrina either. Not to the extent things really happened
spiritsmom1 Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - A lot of people just dont have a clue, unless they lived it in one way or another. Katrina was a breeze compared to Ike. At least we knew and were informed about what happened with Katrina, somewhat anyway. I was nothing like this though. Everything has been kept totally quite with Ike. It give me the creeps.
spiritsmom1 Says:
Oct 17, 2008 - QUIET!! is what I meant. It is what it is! :)
HisColey00 Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - At last someone speaks up and says what we have all been saying!I have never seen anything like this..Katrina was BAD and we all know that but that is still talked about today like it happend yesterday, but we have yet to hear about Ike like that. All my Family lives in South Texas they are all ok Thank GOD but i watch the news everyday and check the internet everyday trying to find out more info about Ike!I am just so happy that this man spoke up.I think that he spoke out for alot of us!
CyrusNixes Says:
Oct 19, 2008 - A reporter trying to get a story should be "ashamed" of? You'd prefer it if reporters were barred access from stories that the government didn't like - thereby leaving them and us the public in the dark? Sounds like communist Russia...
dallas1028 Says:
Oct 20, 2008 - Its simple, They couldnt get any personnel over there to remove the fatalities and they sure as heck didnt want the news over there to make that public. Its the day after the storm calm down newsguy, let the local officials make the decision to clean up what they can before they start showing bodies on camera.
SpaceTimeExplorer Says:
Oct 25, 2008 - I am shocked and impressed that the journalist kept trying to get the governor to answer his question instead of dodging it. Wish that all journalists tried that hard to get to the truth.
bbygrl1079 Says:
Oct 25, 2008 - Wayne Dolcefino Is the MAN!!!!! He has always been the first one to say something is fishy when the long facist arm of the government tries to control us.
crashniraq Says:
Oct 27, 2008 - Wayne wants more "Wayne Time" on ABC13. Rick Perry wants to not look like an idiot for not knowing the difference in the West End and Bolivar. The National Guard, Firefighters, Texas DPS, countless OTHER volunteers are the heros here. Not the ABC13s Geraldo wannabe.
jerry2382 Says:
Oct 30, 2008 - ya know, wayne is like, an idiot, ya know. He says ya know way tooo much. Ya know.
agcatdriver Says:
Nov 1, 2008 - It's NOT simple. This is several weeks after the storm now, and there are STILL obstacles to getting information. I know this stuff is fact, I have a very good friend that has three relatives missing down there. They've been there PERSONALLY, as have I. It's lots worse than anyone knows.
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - 82+ are dead in Galveston, 202 still missing as of late november.
anthonygeracesr Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - i restored power there and man it was sad sad sad
maccKaron Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - I can destroy these monsters... and want to make my discovering in practice...
bigtxdaddy1975 Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - I understand where he's coming from to an extent. I ha a beach cabin down on South Jacks (for those that are from there and not pretend to be) right down he road from Joy Sands Hotel by Sharky's. Where we are coming fron is there is alot of people still unaccounted for and hell they just found a body couple weeks ago on goat island. Some people are recovered while many remain missing. I didnt watch the local news for that simple fact of seeing someone I may know floating
mrobertb Says:
Oct 4, 2008 - Typical high-handed elitist attitude from Gov. Perry. He's a pompous jack ass who doesn't deserve to be where he is. I look forward to his term-limit end of office. It'll be a relief to be rid of the partisan, corrupt, vain prick. He's a disgrace & embarrassment to the state and people of Texas!
