In the early 1970's Kenny Powers, a Canadian daredevil, attempted one of the most idiotic stunts known to humankind. Powers tried to drive a rocket-powered and winged Lincoln Continental off a massive ramp and over the mile-wide St. Lawrence River and the border between Canada and New York state. The stunt cost an estimated $1 million and resulted in ... well, you've just got to watch the video.

Sep 22, 2008 - It Needed a pointed nose, bigger wings, and a rudder/stabilizer in back. When your doing car jumps at 300 MPH Aerodynamics is just about 25 times as important then at 60mph.

Nov 15, 2008 - This was in Morrisburg, Ontario 10 min away from my city and i remember as a 6yr old seeing the size of that huge ramp in person. It became a big inspiration for us kids in the area to do some real stupid (and i mean STUPID) jumps with our bikes....i still have the scares.

There was another guy named ken who was originally supposed to do the jump but backed out at the last minute for something..and the financing ppl wanted it done. so they hired ken powers to do the jump. ..and you saw what happened...and the original stuntman ken was PISSED OFF once he found out what happened too.
