There are so many contradictions to the bible story including 'the bible didn't mention us' I think she has cleverly tied into the song that her dog is named after the bible Samson. One of my favorite songs.

Sep 29, 2008 - this song is about her first love who had cancer. he lost his hair and his strength (like the biblical character) and could only eat bread and go back to bed because of the chemo. they couldnt bring the colums down meaning they didnt get to do the things they wanted, they didnt have the time. (this is my favorite interpretation i have no idea if its tru)
