http://www.ronpaul2008.com RON PAUL - PRESIDENT 2008 Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation's capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are." ReduceGHGs Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - Obama's approach to governing looks pretty good; lots of capitalism regulated for the benefit of We Tha People. For example, RP would prefer to abolish the EPA and he thinks Global Warming is a property rights issue. Sorry RP but you're clueless! It is going to take aggressive FEDERAL incentives, regulations, and policy changes to adequately reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. The EPA is but ONE of the good federal tools that w/cheney has handicapped. ENOUGH! Welcome OBAMA!
ReduceGHGs Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - RP supports now that they realize that the candidacy was nothing more than a pipe dream; some bad mouth OBAMA and wont give him a chance. They vent their frustration because RP failed badly. Well cry me a river! I'm been putting up with w/cheney as they needlessly caused the death of hundreds of thousands, rang up an un-payable debt, and dismantled decades of environmental protections designed to protect the commons and the citizens and future generations' habitat. Get over it! Welcome OBAMA!
commonsense2012 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - EPA...the ultimate joke organization. obama, citibanks favorite candidate because they gave him one hell of a campaign contribution. there's your candidate who "takes no money from special interests". keep drinking the kool aid. you think the democrats will do any better? Dec 4, 2008 - If you look at who in government supported Obama, and you look at Obamas ties with the CFR youll realize that Obama is just going to do the same thing as Bush. Try researching the people he appointed to his cabinet. The Propaganda machine is already spewing out how much we need to head into Afganistan. DONT EVER bring down Ron Paul by trying to compare him with Obama you ignorant moron.
Kyocus Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - One funny thing Ive noticed that anti-global warming people never want to look at is the temperature of ALL the other planets in our solar system, or any charts of planetary temperature in relation to solar flare activity. In the 70s the BBC was thinking about making a documentary about the coming ice age because it was so cold. Whats funnier is that temperature and atmospheric data from ice deposits "which gives a record over 1,000,000's of years is ignored. Global warming is a sham.
Kyocus Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I am an American. Dont buy into this two party system. Both of the main parties are suckling poison from globalist corporations. Both parties are working hand in shreading the constitution. DO NOT listen to media biast against people who make sense, and NEVER give up liberty for "protection". WE have freedom of speach, of the Press, and the Right to Bear arms ALL TO protect US the people from the Government.
JimmyJackJohnnyJose Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - i like his free market ideas and basic economic principles, but the idea of going back to the gold standard is just too radical for this country. Economic growth would be halted

Dec 5, 2008 - Ron Paul is now in his 11th term. Why don't you get it? The american people want him.
luke666808g Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - the US had a gold standard until 71' so it's not radical, unless you think a little over 30 years is all it takes for something to go from being common sense to being radical...
xstreetfighterx Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - but on the path America is on with the Fed, there is no economic growth at all, it only seems that way... thats why the economy is now fucked
steelfury455 Says:
Dec 5, 2008 - i never researched this man prior to the election. i was wrong about him. it didn't take long to realize this is THE person to solve ALL of our needs to succeed as a nation and be viewed positively to the rest of the world. why couldn't we have nominated this great person to the Republican party for president. it seems so clear. there's something else going on behind all of our eyes.
commonsense2012 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - ha ha...obama the hero. fake change is a comin'!
