I succeeded in compressing all the electronics for this watch in to a 10mm-thick case. The 96x64 OLED display runs continuously - unlike older LED watches, there is no need to press a button to see the time. Battery life is 25 hours, so recharging is done every night. I've got the full design and manufacture details on my build log: http://www.maushammer.com/systems/Watch/Build%20Log/Build%20Log.html Sorry, not for sale :-)

Apr 17, 2007 - you should put this into mass production, I think it would be a rather popular product.

Jun 5, 2007 - Does it tell time? Cause if not, you should program it so that the score is the time :D! So like every minute the left side loses so the score goes up a minute.
maushammer Says:
Jun 5, 2007 - Dr - Yep, it tells time just like you said. Also, the score is at the bottom of the screen for AM, at the top for PM. This also helps the OLED not burn in.

Sep 10, 2007 - YO! Have you contacted tokyoflash dot com with this!? I have spoken with them before. They are open to outside ideas. Contact them, and they will provide you with a NDA. With your level of development I am sure you have a lot to bargain with. I would LOVE to see this out there man. Great work!

Sep 5, 2008 - Thanks! It's still just a prototype -- I'm working on making a batch of similar watches, but I don't have a schedule for that yet (my day job keeps me pretty busy). Also, be sure to check out my second version of this watch in the video responses - I think it looks even better than the Pong version (and, yes, the new one will play Ping Pong also)
KingROFL Says:
Sep 8, 2008 - the question is, how do you set the time in this thing?
maushammer Says:
Sep 8, 2008 - There is a button on the charger that lets you set the time. I'm also playing with the idea of the charger automatically setting the time from the internet.
