And how many subspecies of brown bears known to ever existed in the whole northern hemisphere under 2 dozen. There is no difference. And it settles the debate that Siberian tigers are top Predators even if Brown bears of any subspecies is around(Kodiak Bears are the largest Brown Bears) and they aren't a subspecies its a nickname for the Brown Bears that lived there.

Cougars make alot of noice and act tough, but they will not fight an adult bear because they would be killed. What cougars do sometimes is see if they could get some of the bear's kill to feed on. Every now and then, the bear let's a cougar share with it.

They only time a cougar would think of taking on a bear is if it was protecting cubs or a carcass. Provided this was a small bear, one swat and cougar is in some trouble. The cat's claws are designed for holding their prey until the jaws get a hold of the neck and suffocation begins. They could inflict wounds on a bear but the bear would kill the Cat in the process.

Brown bears are omnivores that mostly prey on vegies- tigers( the siberian tigers) full time predator all year round would have more experince killing big game and one of those big games would be a a bear of any size, its been damn proven through russian biologist reports.....
