Sep 11, 2008 - he doesn't want to explain homosexuality to kindergartners! mccain's ad was twisting the truth! obama wants to TEACH CHILDREN HOW TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM SEXUAL PREDATORS. it fills my eyes with tears just thinking about all the children who are molested and sexually assaulted EVERY DAY and not many of them know how to protect themselves or know that someone touching them inappropriately is WRONG! mccain doesn't want to protect the children! OBAMA DOES!

LetMeScreamLoud Says:

Sep 11, 2008 - When Dick Cheney used "lipstick on a pig" it was normal and nice, now Obama said same sentence and some people go hysterical! Ok, I get it... they just didn't find anything else negative so they had to make a big deal out of it. Pathetic! We must stay in Iraq? HUH? Even if it will completely crash American economy? They need to think, at least try to think...

LetMeScreamLoud Says:

Sep 11, 2008 - EDUCATION, new technologies and economy are the things that keep America great. With rising Russia who has more oil than they know what to do with they will be able to dictate rules if we don't change things NOW! While Russia has lots of oil they are also having troubles with education(they are trying to fix it though), they having troubles with health care, corruption and alcoholism. If we get way ahead in technology and progress their oil won't beat it!

Sep 12, 2008 - I could not agree more, education is critical... but we must address several important issues: the gap between those who have and those who don't; the disparity between poor urban and wealthy suburban schools; the status of teachers in this country (garbage collectors make more $ than teachers;) the poor teacher education programs that don't adequately prepare teachers for the classroom; weak support for schools and teachers; and the way society continuously blames schools for all of its ills.

JBeatty17 Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - STUDENTS FOR OBAMA Spread the word. Get involved.

TaggedandFlagged Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - Lipstick is a cosmetic instrument for the purpose of changing the appearance of the object it is used on. Obama is using the argument to say that McCain is just simply changing his appearance. We need more than 10% change.

Rocky1990 Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - if you smeeeeeellll...that Barack, is cookin!

ilovemycat00 Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - As the child of public education teachers, I'm tired of politicians telling teachers...at every level...how great they are, but not giving them the support they need or the pay they deserve and that's exactly why I support Barack...he'll put teachers and kids first in his education policies, not just talk about it to get elected. OBAMA/BIDEN 2008!!

Nowitzki25 Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - Barack Obama is what this country needs, not some loony old man that votes 90% in line with the worst president in history VOTE OBAMA!!!

UODUCK79 Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - ATTENTION! There is possible election fraud going on. Do not use any absentee ballots mailed out by anyone from the McCain campaign. If in doubt go to your Democratic party or your local Obama office and find out what to do and look out for. Tell your friends and family.

indastrol Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - Here is a metaphor for the Obama team. When the Beatles stopped touring after Revolver, the critics said it was over, the star had faded, they were on their way out etc. Suddenly, Herman's Hermits were going to be the next big thing. But the Beatles stayed calm and then came out with the most culturally significant album of their career. Just goes to show, if you are really good, then history is usually on your side. Stay calm and focused and just do what you have to do.

greendrumstick Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - great speach.. go obama!!

indastrol Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - For what this advice is worth, consider this: the McCain campaignis basically selling itself like a brand of soap or a movie. Tag-lines, one-liners etc. They have become everything they accused Obama of being. The only way they win elections os by counting that Democrats won't call them out on it. You have to frame them for what they are. McCain seems increasignly like a very small man, he barely made eye contact with Obama in NY. I think he knows he is selling a lie.

420chronmasta Says:

ptypn Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - What is your reasoning behind this? I think it is a bit far-fetched to refer to the future of the American education system, "garbage."

Sep 12, 2008 - YES!!! I did catch that too!
