Differently than the trailer for the first movie, I actually enjoy the theatrical trailer for "Returns". But I figured since I re-made the first, might as well do this too. It turned out OK. Check the trailer for the first Batman at my profile.

Nov 22, 2008 - i think this film is waaaaay to dark and penguins story is kinda sad ya know.
CyberLance26 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Batman is supposed to be very dark. The comics are a lot darker than the movies. Batman has always been meant to have very dark storys and characters with sad backstorys. Batman himself is a very tragic character that you could almost say is just as insane as the villains he fight.

Nov 23, 2008 - Batman returns Movie looks great cant wait till it comes out. There are rumors around the internet that heath ledger might play the joker...keep dreaming people!
IntgrScienceFilms Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - There is nothing wrong with Batman being dark. But this wasn't dark, as it was more odd. Burton took the story in a different path compared to the first Batman.
CyberLance26 Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - Whats odd about it? Sorry but except for how Selina Kyle becomes the Catwomen i cant remember anything odd about the movie. The catwomen part i always found verty odd at least. And there are lots of Batman comics similar to this movie i think but probably more dark. They dont sell Batman comics where i live anymore so i must order from America but i have read lots about different Batman comic storys on the net.
IntgrScienceFilms Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - Yes you are right on about the Catwoman stuff. Just look at the Penguin. He was not creepy or odd like that. He did not eat raw fish or act psychotic. He was just a fat guy, really. So there characterization of the Penguin was strange to say the least. The clown gang was corny. It feels different from the first one. Burton was taking the movie in an odd direction compared to the first.

Nov 26, 2008 - foi confirmado, pelo maniaco cartunista q fazia os desenhos do batman, que ele queria mostrar uma bixa reprimida, mas a sociedade o interpretou mal e agora batman eh super heroi, eh uma pena
retrostringbean Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - i know it is ok if its dark but this to dark you know what i mean?
PersonalJesus348 Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - Well its bound to be odd when a grown man dresses as a bat and fights crime to combat childhood trauma. So its tough to say you can be a superhero fan if you have trouble with odd...
devigne Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - i was toooooo young to appreciate the value of this movie. twenty years later, I finally see why burton chose to come back with a super dark movie. WB made the series a joke with the next two movies, but, I guess it was more suitable for a 14 year old than Burton's
caction66 Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - This is still my least favorite Batman movie. Tim Burton doesn't like superhero movies, which is why the Penguin and Catwoman have more screen time than Batman. He casts that wimpy-ass Michael Keaton as Batman. His retooled Penguin as a "monster" was ridiculous and lame, and the crazy Catwoman backstory made no sense. Thank God for Chris Nolan and the last two Batman movies. I like to pretend that this movie and the next two never existed.
apologyisnothepolicy Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - yep,tim burton just went too far with all the goth shit,he ne had no respect at all for the comic book and I hope he never... EVER comes back to the batman franchise or we would see a character transformed into a vampire or a drag queen or some of that freak stuff that burton loves
powerrangerjunior Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Everyone talks bad about Burton, but I personally loved his Batman movies. Both of them. I actually felt for the characters, which I ussually don't in superhero movies. They had special skills, yet they were human in the end, with all their feelings, love, hatred, and frustrations. And Michael Keaton pretty much grabbed the character well. Keaton as Batman actualy felt genuine.
IntgrScienceFilms Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - I don't think you are seeing my point. I have no problems with a grown man dressing up as a giant Bat to fight crime. I'm not talking about the characters but more about Burton's interpretation and direction for BR. The first one felt like they were trying to be more serious. The second had some dark campiness to it. It was like he was making Beetlejuice instead of a Batman movie. If you look at the first movie and then the second, you will notice a stark contrast in the cinematic vision.
PersonalJesus348 Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - I think your confusing odd with atmosphere. And Beetlejuice is nothing like this movie.
