Jul 7, 2008 - The point is that all this talk of the end of the world is garbage perpetuated by fear-mongers, the same folks who take advantage of the ignorant of this world. For example, why not work on world hunger....or eliminating third-world debt?? Or....wherever you live, there are the homeless...why not get involved by focussing your energy in helping this?? But, of all the things you people think about, it is such a waste of time and a good mind....I just don't get it....

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Have you seen this movie? It's not about the end of the world, it is about a shift in consciousness and in how we perceive our reality and each other. Look at the facts first before you make a point; you learn this in university. I don't mind the 'name' crackpot because I am more awake and intuitive than ever before. 'Quoting' other academics, writers, scientists (in footnotes) is important when you write papers in college. You might want to remember this once you decide to go to college.

ospreylookout Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - First off my friend, I too, along with a sorted few other have been to universities, earned degrees, and are trying to figure out this world that we call home. Some of us try to do good things for the world, some not. My point is that this stuff is fluff, and for someone like yourself, who goes out of his way to point out to everyone who cares to read this, that you have gone to university, it just seems a bit of a waste of time....to me.

ospreylookout Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - ...And, when I see the beginning of this trailer, attempt to capture the audience with prophecies of the "end" in 2012, whatever it refers to as the end, I wonder, who could ever predict this, and why are (some) people behaving like such lemmings, scurrying around believing it? Can you not do something more productive with you time than perpetuate this mystical granola-crunching gobble-d-gook? Again, I see no reference of yours that Einstein or Galileo, or any of the rest wrote of 2012...??

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - I already explained that I mentioned people like Einstein and Copernicus because they were different thinkers not because they mentioned 2012. Copernicus worked in a different field than Einstein did, so this in itself would be a contradiction. But if this is such a waste of time why do you bother to waste your time on this with me? Go do something useful and respect others when they want to spend their thoughts on 2012. I mean, if you can't say something positive why say something at all?

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - 2012: A shift in global human consciousness may take place or not. Either way I will be a person filled with contentment. In case of a party: Please wear something descent and try to stick to good etiquette

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Have you looked around? Our world is literally filled with good little lemmings. Learning in school to switch of their intuition, how to be good citizens, to be good consumers, to pay their taxes, to believe what the news is telling them, to fight in wars for the advantage of the few and take quick fix medication when they don't feel happy. I am surprised that there are not more people who try to find alternative answers, that there is more than this current dull reality that is so yesterday.

ospreylookout Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - I have no problem with much of what you are saying insofar as people really do avoid alternate realities...that could exist on this planet, right, right now. I guess that I just have a problem when these possibilities are shrouded and sold as something that is not in each of us without having to pay someone else for it, or watch a flaky movie about a myth. I just don't get it. I am happy for you...be content...great, whatever. Cheers!

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - I am convinced that you are a good person and that we both want the same, we just differ on the road to take. This is ok, I respect that. I too get upset when I see poverty, hunger, war and suffering but I am convinced that one day we will make a more peaceful, caring and loving world. Because I don't like to pay either I watched the movie for free on the net. I'll send you the url so you can watch it if you're interested, if not that's fine by me. I actually liked this conversation, so thanks!

Jul 9, 2008 - The pen is mightier than the sword.... Our (Canadian) Prime Minister Steven Harper, is at the G8 Summit, in Japan, where leaders of these 8 industrial nations are talking about global issues such as climate change, world hunger, poverty, etc. We are not doing enough, fast enough, to avoid consequences that will be difficult to reverse once set in motion. This has however, nothing to do with Mayan predictions, or any other prophecy. It is here and now, on this physical planet, Earth.

Particulatematter Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - if the pen is mightier than the sword, then the mind that wields the pen is mightiest of all, Harper is @ G8 for the sashimi buffet nothing else, when he gets back he will promptly continue selling our rights away to the SPP,

yukikaze2001 Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - The sweet illusion of (international) democracy. Through lobbying big (international) companies influence the political process, basically putting forward leaders (left, right, middle) we can choose from. Who we choose does not seem to matter for they do not listen to us. Politics is mere entertainment, just to keep us busy nothing more. 'You can't make/help a politician to believe in something when his income in involved. However, I am more worried about who really control the big companies.

ospreylookout Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Dear Particulatematter, Your observation for Harper's penchant for sashimi may or may not be true, but I don't see the relevance. My point has much more to do with real issues, than partisan politics. It has everything to do with what this stupid video is about...some dead culture's prediction (as interpreted by a mass audience of under-educated baboons). Until we can think big thoughts, as individuals, then we will continue to be lost.

Sep 22, 2008 - well after all even scientists believe in something divine,I'm not sure if something wil happen exactly in 2012 or 2013,if the nibiru thing is real?hmmmm...we will see. But many prophecies happenned, especially from the Hadith and things from the Bible, the beginning of the end is really near, after justice will be made and Jesus peace be upon him completes his message than after that soon the end will come. This is really near according to all the prophecies that happened. peace and love

Oct 4, 2008 - One day, the sun will die, as does most any star. It has been suggested that prior to its demise, it will expand, and then contract. It has been theorized that during its end, the Earth will be engulfed by the Sun as it begins to collapse.
