Nov 15, 2008 - This was so beautiful. He is such a lovely, wise, special, kind man.

regal80 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - That was wonderful and he is a wonderful person for this, it takes guts to stand in front of an audience and talk about marinating in your own urine.

Nov 16, 2008 - The comment directly above this one was written by an pure-idiot.

Nov 16, 2008 - God, i love him...he's so honest and sweet. thankfully brittany is getting her act together now and realizes how insane she was behaving.

SempervirensInNY Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - He's easy to listen to, and engaging. When he turns that to a social message, through his own history, it's magic. And good on him for making the changes in his life. You rock, Craig. Alcohol can be fun in moderation, but I think the way it can run your life is overlooked in America. All this press against illegal drugs and smoking cigarettes, but it's socially acceptable to be anything shy of addicted to drinking. At my local grocer there's more beer than juice and water for sale, combined.

duffduffbeerbeer Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - I have been an alcoholic now for 28 days.... alcohol is good... it is hard for me to drink so much but i have good will power and my family behind me so I hope to stick with it... oh well back to the vodka... keep drinking...

rufusminnie Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This guy is extremely talented and smart. (Look him up on Wikepedia.) Wish I could keep awake til 12:30 every weeknight to catch his show.

slasherjbr Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - people laughing when hes talking seriously is so annoying

carnut015 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The laughter is nervous laughter. most people don't know how to react to such a frank statement in a public forum. Thus, nervous laughter to mask the edginess inside of them they do not know how else to express.

grailmaiden Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The comment above yours was written by a very decent, respectful person who made a heart felt observation about all the torment and heartache Brittney Spears went through with alcohol abuse/drugs and emotional problems. Sounds like Craig Ferguson has a good heart and compassion as an ex-drunkard who recovered from his OWN drinking problem. Now, who peed in YOUR cornflakes - Mr. or Mrs. Grumpy Cranky Pants?

grailmaiden Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - you're an idiot.

shababgeg Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I am an alcoholic. This monologue helped me to take the steps i needed to take to change my life. I'm so grateful that he said what he said. I also hope i get to meet him one day to thank him personally.

johnacrob Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - byan1, Rove McManus is the unfunniest guy in the world. The fact he has in own talk in his own country show is ridiculous, if he took over Craig Ferguson there would be rioting in the streets.

mugshit Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - lol i love his accent

GiorgosLazarou Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - class act

Ellbell72 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - craig ferguson is great. it takes a lot for someone like him to come out and say "i don't feel right making fun of people". i think he is a real genuinely kind person and to me that makes him a million times funnier at what he does. america needs more craig fergusons.

timex07 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - craig is probably the most sincere and real guy on t.v.

somervillain Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Makes me proud to be Scottish!

miriambk Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - Whoa. I am truly moved. What an honest and classy guy. One of the best parts was the end, speaking about finding people with similar experiences at the front of the phone book. He brought tears to my eyes. God bless, Craig Ferguson....you're a good egg, man.

cluelessrachel Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - I've been a fan of Craig for about one and a half years, basically because of who he is and what he stands for. This piece took a lot of heart to deliver; because as he said 'It is embarassing to admit you are an alcoholic'. God love him for putting his struggles out into the public eye in an attempt to make us look inward and convince us not to judge. I've never been an alcoholic, but admittedly I have judged: this message speaks to all of us, and its up to us to hear it. God bless you, Craig.

magicmoments22 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - Craig..., moving...., u should be my Dad.

yuyopi1 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - I wish my dad had had the introspection and courage to do what Craig did. He's really amazing and you Scots are right to feel proud, because he's breaking taboos here. Ask for help.
