chrisowen Says:

bmemodels07 Says:

Mar 11, 2008 - Very nice shame to see here go!

Razor1778 Says:

Mar 24, 2008 - why did it fly over first

wildhorseshadwell Says:

Apr 21, 2008 - unfortunately it seems to be a national disgrace to be british now we seem to be frightened to say we are or have national pride or support for achivements from government etc its the only thing ill ever admire yanks for is patriotism we have none left weve sold it all abroad to the highest bidder with no production or export and buying everything in we are now heading towards bankruptcy and knob heads in this country are still adamant that its cheaper to buy abroad rule britania huh ! wake up !

wildhorseshadwell Says:

Apr 21, 2008 - its white it will be a colour cast of the type of daylight usualy late afternoon/evening depending on season gives warm orange glow and also increases colour saturation best part of day for photography if photographing outside there are only two times to go early morning dawn or evening when suns low and warm rest of day lighting is harsher so usualy unless its an unmissable shot camera stays in my bag

jaffro335 Says:

Jun 7, 2008 - yeh a bae146 had a tyre blowout on the runway.

luciferia218 Says:

Jul 19, 2008 - wow.. concords were so amazing. theyve stoped flying them, right?

MMSband737 Says:

Jul 23, 2008 - Bae 146? Where did you get that idea. There was a metal strip piece from a DC-10 that caused the tire blowout of concorde and the crash.

jaffro335 Says:

Jul 23, 2008 - i meant when concorde did the over shoot at manchester it was caused by a 146. soz 4 the confusion

xNeonpirate Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - why did they stop flying them?

TonyFirelli Says:

Aug 24, 2008 - they were 28 years old and one of them crashed

rlz123 Says:

Aug 24, 2008 - Dispite this, They had an incredible safety record. Also, Many 40 year old aircraft still fly - Let's take John Travolta's plane, It's a Quantas 707 Which is at least 30 years old. It's simply the fact that 1/7 of the whole Concorde fleet crashed (Only 2 of them) which make everyone shit theirselves about the Concorde. Hopefully a new generation of supersonic airliners will come soon, Until then we can remember the good ol' Concorde.

glenwoofit Says:

Sep 12, 2008 - Concord was and still is a Amazing aeroplane. I would like to see the people who scrapped her lined up against a wall and Shot, I would Gladly pull the trigger myself. They let the people of Brittan and France down... Will there ever be anything to replace her? I Doubt It...

Anfumb Says:

Sep 29, 2008 - also wasted A LOT OF GAS

qwertdr Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - It's called Jet Fuel, well it's actually called Kerosene. I don't care if it was a waste. If we can't comprimise in life for the things we love, we won't enjoy ourselves.

qwertdr Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - Have people only just noticed that they've stopped flying?! Yes, last flight in November 2003.

qwertdr Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - They wern't literally scrapped. Bar 1 in an unfortunate and careless situation on Air France's part, in 1994.

Anfumb Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - ya I know JP or Jet AI blah blah ya ok

glenwoofit Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - It's called "JET A1" your right it is Kerosene but JET A1 is the grade of Kerosene used in turbine engines, When you phone for refuelling you don't ask for Kerosene, Well you can but you'd probley get a strange reply...

glenwoofit Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - Yeah i know they weren't scraped, but a grouded Aeroplane might as well be... It really anoy's me to see a marvel of avaition engineering sat grounded just because British Airways and Air France wouldn't sell them to Richard Branson, They should still be flying and pulling in the crowds where ever they land, And an example of what can be achieved when two countries with a common goal put their mind's and money together...

parky2310 Says:

Oct 21, 2008 - Indeed they were 28 years old but all of the Airframes had less flying hours/cycles on them than a 5 year old 747! and how many 5 year 747's have been withdrawn from service???

bikersrule07 Says:

Nov 7, 2008 - They were not scraped, they were retired from service. i think 1 is in seattle.
