Oct 11, 2008 - hey i win this race with 4:21 can you beat this
majorunderscore Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - My best time so far has been 4:19, but I didn't record that race so it doesn't count.
YoungGangstaIV Says:
Oct 16, 2008 - Look what the Cheetah did early in the start of the race. He went into the walking area for pedestrians only! Lol
Xander7767 Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - wouldn't it have been sick if they had the Bullet in GTA IV?
majorunderscore Says:
Oct 24, 2008 - Yeah, that'd be nice. They tend to change the vehicles quite a bit though from one game to the next.

Oct 25, 2008 - whuch one is better?
majorunderscore Says:
Oct 26, 2008 - I'm not sure which one is better. The free trial version of Growler does let you record for a lot longer than the Fraps free version, so that's a big plus if you're only going to take advantage of that free trial for a couple of weeks. In terms of video quality I found Fraps doing better for me this far, but then I haven't tried to improve the Growler settings, so maybe that isn't fair. Growler did work better in the background than did Fraps, as it didn't require as much computer juice.

Nov 5, 2008 - shit man that's pro, I don't know how you managed to recover from all those swerves
majorunderscore Says:
Nov 5, 2008 - Thanks! I guess it comes from racing a lot online - you really get pretty good fast when racing against other people rather than the single player AIs. Make sure you check out the video responses though if you want to see some guys who really race well. They shaved more than 20 seconds off the time in my video. :-)

Nov 9, 2008 - I don't know why this vid has gotten only around 6,400 views. Bro you are the BOMB!!!
Bernasx Says:
Nov 9, 2008 - nice
majorunderscore Says:
Nov 9, 2008 - Thanks man. I don't know why, but none of my "challenge" type videos have gotten many views (as compared to some of my other videos). Still, I think it's great to get some video responses made by people who actually tried the challenges! :-)

majorunderscore Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - You can get a trial version of either program free. Just ask Google. I thought I answered the "which one is better" question already...

cesvialpando Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - I Mean Fraps or guncam? I tried Fraps but I can record only for 30 seconds. Thanks Man...
majorunderscore Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Well, it depends on what you're trying to record, your purpose. Sometimes 30 seconds at a time is enough. If it's not then the Fraps trial version is clearly not an option.
cesvialpando Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - OK thanks.
aristides1002 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - lol man i can get fraps for free

Oct 10, 2008 - You win by crossing the finish line first. :-) Exactly what makes you not win the race? Does your car blow up? Are the other cars too fast? In general, my advice would be to drive carefully. Many players seem to have a very aggressive driving style that leads to crashes. That doesn't work well in an endurance race, where the most important thing is to get across the finish line without wrecking your car. First focus on finishing the race once; then try to improve your race time and position.
